Paulette Leclaire has been practicing for 29 years as a couples, family and individual therapist. She obtained her Masters degree in family sciences in 1980 and a Masters degree in marriage counselling in 1981 from Saint Paul University. She also has a registered nursing degree.

Paulette uses a psychodynamic approach; she provides a presence to the way each person relates to him/herself, others and the world around him/her. Each individual has his/her own structured self and experiences his/her humanity in a subjective way. This subjective self is unique to each person and is the basis from which they can become and learn who they are. Through this process she can explore with the client the difficulties he/she is having with assuming himself/herself and his/her relationships.

As a therapist she is a member of the Order of Social Workers and Family and Couple therapists of Quebec. She also has an office at 134 St. Paul Street in the east end of Ottawa. She is fluently bilingual.
